SMARTBoard Notebook is the software program that can be used to create or view interactive lessons and activities on the SMARTBoard. Notebook Software needs to be installed on your computer to create or edit already existing files. To install Notebook Software on a WP computer requires administrative permission. During the software installation you will need to submit the serial number from your SMARTBoard.
But if you are only interested in viewing these interactive files on the SMARTBoard, it is possible to download the SMART Notebook Viewer. *Note that the viewer only allows you to view the files; you may not edit the files or create your own without the Notebook Software installed. UPDATE (March 2011): It looks like the Notebook viewer is not available. There is now SMART Notebook Express which is a lightweight version of Notebook that allows you to view, share, save, and interact with SMART Notebook files.
